Wondering which winter destinations in Europe to visit? This video will introduce you to seven cities that come alive around Christmas!

I visited all of them on the Contiki European Magic tour, booked through STA Travel. It was a 9-day bonanza that took me to seven incredible cities - Amsterdam, St Goar in the Rhine Valley, Munich, Innsbruck, Venice, Lucerne and Paris. From the Eiffel Tower to the Venetian canals, from German beer halls to the Netherlands' infamous Red Light district it was the perfect snapshot of winter Europe. Oh, and lots of German Christmas markets with Gluhwein of course!
