Amsterdam in 24 Hours

On my way home, I made a pit stop in Amsterdam. I landed in the evening, just before sundown.
I stayed in the Holiday Inn Amsterdam within walking distance of the Amsterdam RAI Convention Center and the Amsterdam RAI Train Station. I'll post a review of that hotel soon.
I took the train into Neiuwmarkt Station. It's near Nieuwmarkt Square, home to several outdoor cafes, music clubs, and the like. This would be my go to place for a date night or just to see the tamer side of Amsterdam.
I then ventured farther and fond myself in the World-famous Red Light District. It was was a wall to water Sea of Humanity, mostly guys gawking at the women. Of the few women that I did see, there was one who I photographed and her expression was one seemingly of disgust at the behavior of men young and old.
I grew tired and took the rain back to my hotel.
The next morning, I took the train into Amsterdam Centraal Station. The main station in Amsterdam. It has and is currently undergoing reconstruction and looks awesome.
I then walked a few meters and then took a tram to Dam Square. This where AmsterDAM gets it name for it is the site fo the original dam that the city gets its name. There were tons of people there: families, couples, refugees, tourists, artist, and vendors. It was a really good place to relax for a while.
Then, I took the tram over to Westerkerk Stop. I walked along the canals past the Anne Frank House and Museum.

Pro Tip: Order your tickets for this attraction early and online. It will sell out.

Wandering up the street, I stumbled upon the Amsterdam Cheese Museum. What a treat as there were tons of free samples. If you're a cheese lover, put the place on your list.
Coming back toward Westerkerk, I took a right into the Jordaan neighborhood. This is the place to go if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. The narrow streets are quiet and have cozy cafes, boutiques and coffee shops(not the ones with weed).

After that, I took the tram back to Centraal Station and then walked toward the Botanical Garden cutting through Chinatown. Amsterdam has a very sizable Chinatown with all kinds of Asian delicacies.
I finally made my way to the botanical Garden, but it was closed. That was OK for it was near time for me to make my way to the Airport.
Even with only about 24 Hours, Amsterdam became my favorite city in a ll of the world. I will be back as soon as possible.
