We are experiencing increased floods, hurricanes, forest fires, heatwaves and droughts. The climate emergency and biodiversity crisis in Europe and around the world is a call to join forces in new, innovative ways. We must take bold action to make the places we live in better prepared for changes now and in the future!
The EU is on a mission to support at least 150 European regions and communities to become climate resilient by 2030. This includes over €368 million for research and innovation to build a better future for our planet, share practices, and assist regions and communities on their journey to climate adaptation.
