Europeans - did you know American cashiers are not allowed to sit down? They need to always appear like they are working. But we feel this is so inhumane to pregnant women, the elderly, anyone with a bad back or knees (which includes MANY people), and even those who are injured cannot sit down. This is something that many Americans don't even think about until they visit Europe (or go to ALDI or LIDL in the USA) and see employees sitting down. #shorts #lifeingermany #deutschland #cultureshocks #kultur
