Iceland is usually written about with delight and aspiration. But did you know that the popularity of this country is largely due to competent advertising? Nobody argues, nature is always beautiful. But is it worth the exorbitant money that is usually asked for a trip to the homeland of the Vikings and trolls? Isn't it easier to visit Europe?

I decided to approach the study of Iceland with a slight dose of skepticism and checked all the most important statements from advertising brochures for the “wow effect”. They tried to stop me (in the very issue you will find out how), but I am an experienced traveler and have not overcome such things. Where this ultimately led me, you will see for yourself.
