As steam trains have finished for 2022 and none are scheduled in the near future, come and join me in a brief tour of the beautiful part of the world in which I live.

We've just come through an unusually cold spell - Dumfries and Galloway normally enjoys a mild climate influenced by the Gulf Stream - and you'll quickly spot which parts of the video were filmed in the last couple of weeks!

My warmest good wishes to all my viewers, whether regulars or newcomers.
Another video is almost ready for New Year - sadly, the old Scottish tradition of Hogmanay is dying rapidly but since the song most associated with New Year was written on the estate where I live - it gave me the theme for a video to welcome in 2023.
