Russian citizen Ksenia Kharlanova, who was among those placed in a quarantine centre after being evacuated from the coronavirus-hit Chinese city of Wuhan, revealed one day in her life at the facility in the Tyumen region of Russia on Thursday.
"We have already had breakfast, after that doctors have checked our rooms. As I understand, they are going to check rooms every morning and evening. They ask us how do we feel, whether we have a temperature, and they listen to us," said Ksenia.
The Russian evacuee noted that she "does not spend time in the quarantine centre in vain," she does exercises in the morning and continues to study Chinese and reads books.
Ksenia also mentioned that, in addition to daily screenings, the evacuees have to pass health testing in the near future.
Kharlanova also shared her plans after returning home and said that she would like to "spend the first time at home with her family" and then visit Europe in the next year.
Earlier, the Russian military evacuated around 144 people in two batches, with the evacuees being placed in a quarantine centre for the next 14 days.
The deadly coronavirus outbreak has been declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
