On April 18, 2017, just one day before the "419" VOA Cut off Incident, PAX, a U.S. subsidiary of PAG, initiated a series of entangled litigations against Miles Guo in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, after the New York County justice was hearing the case, Barry Ostrager, dismissed PAX's lawsuit on September 20, 2017, finding that the New York court does not have jurisdiction over the case.
