Records Inc., who released their third studio LP,. The album was produced by Ed Stasium in Los Angeles and contained the single "How It Is" including Sen Canine of Cypress Hill, for which a video was also shot. This was the last Biohazard album with Bobby Hambel, who left due to differences with the remainder of the band. Hambel hung out in White Devil, likewise including members of the Cro-Mags, prior to relatively leaving the music organization entirely. In late 1995, the band, in addition to Therapy? and Gunshot, contributed remixes to the Pitchshifter album.

It was produced with the aid of Dave Jerden. For the 199697 Mata Leao Trip, the band hired former Helmet guitarist Rob Echeverria. The band also used the Ozzfest mainstage alongside Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer, Danzig, Fear Factory, and Sepultura. While touring Europe in support of the Mata Leao album, the band recorded their Hamburg, Germany, show for their first live album, No Holds Barred (Reside In Europe), which was launched in 1997 through their previous label, Roadrunner Records.

The character was presented in the second season and appeared throughout the series' 6th and last season. The band signed to Mercury Records and launched their fifth studio album, New World Disorder, in 1999, when again with Ed Stasium as a manufacturer. The relationship with Mercury Records soured rapidly as the band felt betrayed and misunderstood by the label.

In 2000, the band continued to visit Europe and Japan, without the assistance of a record label or management. In 2001, the band launched a collection album entitled. The album included numerous B-sides and remixes from different ages in the band's recording history. The album was launched by the Phantom Sound & Vision label.

Leo Curley, of Summary and All Means Necessary, was employed as his replacement. In the same year, Biohazard signed two brand-new record offers with SPV/Steamhammer in Europe and Sanctuary Records for the rest of the world. Despite the new record deals, the band took some personal time in order to work on other jobs.
