Vienna Pride was two weeks this year. For these fourteen days, Vienna was the centre of the LGBT community. Numerous parties, art and information events, live performances and of course the Rainbow Parade on June 16, 2018, was turn up the heat in Vienna and made a visible statement for the acceptance of LGBT people and against their exclusion. The Pride Run was held for the first time in 2018. And a Pride Beach was set up on the Danube Canal.
