WE FEEL A BIT STUPID (frustrating end to a perfect week)

After leaving Turkey last week, we spent 7 glorious days exploring Bulgaria and it really took us by surprise. I don't know what we had in mind, but this wasn't it. Never-ending forests with greenery as far as the eye can see, beautiful golden sandy beaches on the Black Sea coast and barely anyone around - it was vanlife heaven!

Despite it being a lush week in paradise spent at beautiful wild camping spots and paddle boarding to our hearts content. We did have a few hiccups and nervy moments including a number of encounters with the Bulgarian border police and a call-out on our European breakdown cover (but hey, at least we have insurance again now!)
