After we visited Piran in Slovenia, we decided to go back to Ljubljana. In the way to the beautiful capital city, we randomly stopped in a port city to film a little bit with our drone. Little did we know this city was so beautiful! I loved admiring it from above so much.

Koper is a coastal city located in southwestern Slovenia, near the border with Italy. It is the largest city and the main port of the Slovenian Istria region. The city has a population of around 25,000 people and is known for its rich cultural heritage, beautiful architecture, and picturesque narrow streets.

The historic center of Koper is dominated by the Venetian-style Praetorian Palace, which was built in the 15th century and now houses the city government. Other notable landmarks include the Cathedral of the Assumption, which dates back to the 12th century and features a mix of architectural styles, and the 14th-century Carpaccio House, which is home to a museum dedicated to the Venetian painter Vittore Carpaccio.

Koper's old town is surrounded by medieval city walls, which offer stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and the surrounding countryside. The city also has several beautiful parks and public squares, including the picturesque Tito Square and the verdant Park Pietro Coppo.

The city also serves as an excellent base for exploring the stunning Slovenian coastline, as well as the nearby Italian cities of Trieste and Venice.
