Labour MSP, Michael Marra, questioned the First Minister on the replacement Erasmus scheme that the SNP said it would introduce.

Yesterdays Spending Review revealed the Scottish government's scheme won't be up and running till 2026, even though Wales has its scheme starting this week.

Nicola Sturgeon used the question to promote her commitment an alternative and for Scotland to rejoin Erasmus as an independent nation.

The Erasmus program is a European initiative that helps Scottish students visit Europe to study in European Universities and was stopped because of Brexit.
